To optimize voice transport over internet networks, the Checkmarq VBX-Series offers the possibility for activating Quality of service (QoS) on concerning networks, prioritizing the Voice network packets over other network packets, like web browsing and email. However, prioritizing voice packets is not always possible, and this is where echo cancelation comes in. The VBX-Series are equipped with the latest, smart self learning, echo cancelators to give you good quality voice conversations, even when the transporting network delays voice packets.

VoIP over internal, manageable networks is no discussion regarding voice quality. For internal connections a separated network for telephony gives a 100% voice quality guarantee for telephony, and an even better voice quality than conventional phones and PBXs. When a separated network is not possible, physical or budget wise, fully managed internal QoS makes sure the voice packets always transport over the network without delays.

Nevertheless, if your company is not yet ready to use VoIP, internally and/or externally, but want use of the full, license less, functionality of the Checkmarq VBX-Series, you can use the VBX-Series to connect you legacy phone lines and/or phones, since all VBX-Series are hybrid products.
